I love to place myself in new environments all around campus. What I didn't know is my new secret study spot located in the Perkins School for Theology would place me in direct earshot of the offices of the Theology department. And with this, I found out the benefactors of the Perkins school are Klansmen.

A lady could be heard rushing in, calling the name of a male in his office. "The name of the school needs to be changed now," she said. She then goes on about how just this Tuesday, it was brought to her attention that the Perkins were members of the "Ku Klux Klan." In a frantic state, she asked who she needed to contact for the name change, who was to blame for the approval of the name, and how soon can the name be changed.

From what I gathered, it seems this was the discovery of one individual. The change won't be possible until Winter, the lady stated.

How this was proven, I am not quite sure. With a simple Google search, there is no apparent proof of the benefactor's connection to the group.

The journalist in me wants to do a full story about this, for this would make waves in the Dallas community.
