"Next Semester Goals" Collage

As the next semester approaches, I put together this vision board collage for my coming academic and personal goals. I collected images online, edited them, and pieced them all together to make this piece.

I love collages! They have always been one of my favorite art techniques. My Dad and I would make them from the millions of magazines we would receive at our apartment. It is a creative way of channeling a message by mixing other pieces of art. It involves careful placement, color mixing, and more. The way you layer a collage or the pictures you choose is integral to the piece's meaning.
